When using this app are images hosted on Google drive or on your server? Seems like on your server, right?

If you check 'Only allow insert URL to remote files,' does that then side load the images from Google's servers as the page is loaded in the client browser, instead of adding the file to the host server?

    Him Tribulant.

The "External Media" Plugin is importing files from Google Drive to my server instead of just exibing them in my pages using Google Drive as host.
I have a website that uses TONS of images, so it would be great to have them all hosted by Google Drive of Photos.
Is there a way to do it?

A good tutorial but worked out this is a waste of time. All this does is import the media into wordpress. It doesn't keep the live link. So when my files in Google Drive change they don't update on the website.

This got a little too involved for a simple task. Also, as usual, Google has changed these pages and options since you released this video. I need a faster option to attach my files. I may try this again in the future.

Ah this seemed so promising: but my pics don't load on the site, (come up as the filename) and refuse to be included in galleries. Help!

I've done everything as you told. Everything went well until the image import… When the imported image comes into library it comes as "GooglePickerAPI_IMG_7021.jpg" with only 962 Bytes and it doesn't show on the article…

    Hi,

I'm having a problem. Everything's fine until I have to login to my google account.

    Here's the error I'm getting:

    ''400. That’s an error.

    Error: invalid_scope

You don't have permission to access some scopes. Your project is trying to access scopes that need to go through the verification process. {invalid = [https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly]} If you need to use one of these scopes, submit a verification request.''

Any idea how to fix this ?
