GOT IT!! You need to create at least 2 pages in order to get the menu options shown in the video. If you have only one page, no menu. If you have the main page and create one more, you get the menu, but "static page" reverts back to "your latest posts" when you save. You have to create 2 pages and assign one of them as the front page.

after all of that, it still read
    "POSTS

    NOTHING FOUND

Ready to publish your first post? Get started here."
I just want it gone. When i try to "select" a static page it only replaces the area in which it reads that message. For instance, if I "select" Home , The location where it reads "Post nothing found" instead reads "Home (and then the link beneath it)" Which is redundant because I have a home tab in my menu

Why not just delete? Why are you suggesting Draft mode?

I find the "home" page in my free theme – cannot be editted or another page be designated as the Home page…. this video is outdated from what I see today in my theme!!

Hi there, I am soooo frustrated about my blog page and home page. I do not want my blogs on my home page. Only on my blog page. I have followed your instructions, and a myriad of others, yet my post are still on my home page. Some content on my home page is missing. I can see it on visual composer, are not there when I preview my home page. I recently changed my theme to Rara Business Theme, then purchased the Pro version, which I might add, was a huge mistake. So much of my content was missing and did not receive much support from them. I have since reverted back to Rara Business Theme (free) but found it all so incredibly frustrating. I hope you can assist me in some way, please. Many thanks

Is there a way to not have that whole section on the right side of the page displayed? Where it lists comments, archives, etc.?

Edited: 05-07-2018: Figured out all I had to do was on the top right sidebar in edit mode I chose "full width" for the page type. That got rid of the whole blog menu section.

I want to make my plugins and themes to be undiscoverable by people who use Theme and Plugins detectors browser extensions and sites. Can you please tell me how can I do that.
