This video has absolutely SAVED me!!!! It was so easy to understand and follow along. I had a purchased child theme with the worst instructions of how to customize it – your video was the most helpful thing in being able to edit and customize. I saved elements from the child theme that I liked and saved to my library and then added in to your design/instructions. My website is looking AMAZING thanks to you πŸ™‚ I'm still woking on it but the home page is pretty much done – http://www.pinningwithpurpose.com

Very nice, Melissa, but the from the title I thought it would be more about blog settings (sidebar widgets, customizing blog posts, grids, elements, comment sections, etc.). This is more about just setting up a website. Maybe you could be more precise in your title.

Hey, do someone know if there is a good tutorial somewhere that is explaining how to create post and also how to categorise the written things? It would be really nice if someone could help πŸ™‚ I finished the site completly and would love to start to write but I have no idea how it is working and how to make the posts to be in the right category and to pin it on the right spot. Thank you!

I can't find it. Can you help, please? Thank you so much for the video, even as a newbie I can follow.

Question, If you only use the visual builder to make blog post, will that effect your rank on google? Seems weird not using the post tab on wordpress.

Thank you so much Melissa. This tutorial was super helpful and I am so glad to finally have found such a diverse theme. It is well worth the investment. I previously created a website with a free tryout theme, but I had to pay for future updates and I wasn't completely satisfied. I have been considering this divi theme for a while now and finally made the decision because you were there to help out! Hopefully you can help out with some more tutorials. For example, I wanted to create a contact form but it doesn't seem to work, so I hope you could show us how to get this working. I would also like to know how to set up a payment system for selling your own (online) books and meditations. Also, your voice is so easy to listen to! Thanks again.

Way too much awkward silence…very well presented and you sound very sharp! (don't be afraid of being in front of the camera as well…otherwise, comes across as more of a teacher/classroom and boring…not very personal)

Hey, Melissa! Glad to have found you as I embark upon my Divi discovery journey!

Quick question: although you have Divi as the parent theme for melissaalexandria.com, you also have a child theme which is not available for download. Could you let us know more about that? Thanks!

Hi Melissa, thank you for such a useful video tutorial. The only issue I have is that by using the LOGO templates from Canva, my logo (even if set at 100) is still showing up way too small! How can I change its size?

Hi Melissa, Thank you for your great video! I really love it and learned a lot from you! I just want to ask or request, can you please do another tutorial for creating blog page. I've checked your website and it looks simple. I'm just wondering, how do you add the side bar widgets to show the recent posts, or categories. Again, thank you so much! πŸ™‚

You don't need the builder if you are using the Divi Theme. Divi Builder is for the other Elegant Themes that are NOT Divi.

The Divi theme includes the Divi builder, the Divi builder plugin is so that you can add Divi to a theme that wasn't created by Elegant Themes.

Hey Melissa, sorry for the off-topic comment, but I would love to see a video about you and your dog, whether like a routine or tips, but mostly how you deal with dog hair, dog toys, dog beds, brushing, etc. I'm also a minimalist and a bit of a neat freak, and in the 3 months I've had my dog I can't seem to get a handle on it the seemingly endless work… haha
